We got a good look at the JCR Honda CRF450R at the Cycle World bike show in NYC this past weekend. I can't imagine racing this bike at night, wfo through the desert...incredible. I'd love to ride it just to see how top heavy it must feel with the lights mounted.
Here's the rear tire. It's nice to see that somebody actually gets the most out of a motocross tire before they change it. I think this one went about 170 miles...
doesn't look like it'd go much further.
To the right of the JCR bike you can see a neat little Honda 125 Road racer, a spec bike built by Moriwaki (I think). I couldn't see the engine but I assume it's a 4 stroke.

Speaking of drag races...
Here are a couple images that should embarrass me, but don't. These were taken one hot summer day on my father in-law's farm in N.J. Needless to say, he wasn't present for this festival of speed, or many of the other ones held there.
Sad to say, the rider in the left lane is no longer with us. Alex was taken way too early by cancer.
Here he's on his Triumph Trophy while I'm on the "house" Suzuki TS185.
